Q. What does Tellurian mean?
A. It means of or pertaining to the earth. It also means inhabitant of the earth.

Q. Why did you choose this as the name?
A.We care about issues concerning the planet and our environment and thought it reflects our desire to make products that were as natural and environmentally friendly as possible. It also conveys our belief that we’re all in this together and our humanitarian intentions for doing this.

Q. I have heard the term “Evolution of Natural Skin Care” used to describe Tellurian what does this mean exactly and what makes Tellurian unique compared to other skin care products.
A. With Tellurian we have completely redefined what natural skin care means. It isn’t merely the inclusion of natural ingredients. What we have been able to do is identify and replicate the actual “natural” materials in the skin itself. These are the very same ingredients that nature put there to maintain the health and appearance of the skin. We have even taken the concept further by using ingredients that have been clinically proven to enhance the skins own ability to produce these vital nutrients.

Q. What role do these materials play in the skin?
A.They have several functions. Some are powerful “moisture magnets” that attract and bind moisture from within the skin. Others are lipids, or oil based materials that form the intercellular substance that gives the skin its crucial barrier properties. This natural barrier in addition to helping to regulate moisture content is also very important for protecting the skin from the environment.
